BRDC Formula 3 was established by ex-Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer as a Formula 4 series in 2013, before reviving the famed British F3 name when it upgraded to a faster car for 2016.
Matheus Leist stormed from 10th to first inside the opening two laps to win the second race of the BRDC British Formula 3 curtain-raiser at Snetterton.
