There are a wide number of different championships running at Formula 3 level around the world, headed by the FIA Formula 3 Championship that supports Formula 1. Below this, there are official Regional F3 championships covering Europe, America, Asia and Japan – as well as the independent Formula Renault Eurocup and W Series. Others, such as Euroformula and Super Formula Lights, remain faithful to the classic F3 concept.
Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 rookie champion Harrison Scott will race the new BRDC Formula 4 car when it debuts in the championship’s Autumn Trophy next month.
