There are a wide number of different championships running at Formula 3 level around the world, headed by the FIA Formula 3 Championship that supports Formula 1. Below this, there are official Regional F3 championships covering Europe, America, Asia and Japan – as well as the independent Formula Renault Eurocup and W Series. Others, such as Euroformula and Super Formula Lights, remain faithful to the classic F3 concept.
Guatemalan driver Andres Saravia will continue in the Euroformula Open series in 2014, having signed on with Italian squad RP Motorsport.
