Facu Regalia finished the in-season GP3 test at the Hungaroring with the fastest time as the Argentine set the pace on a rain-affected second day.
ART driver Regalia took advantage of dryer conditions towards the end of the morning to post a 1m32.341s on slicks with five minutes left on the clock.
That put him 0.376s clear of Bamboo’s Lewis Williamson, who continued his strong pace from Wednesday. Nick Yelloly was third with Daniil Kvyat fourth ahead of his fellow Red Bull Junior Carlos Sainz. Patrick Kujala was sixth for Koiranen ahead of championship leader Tio Ellinas, Jack Harvey and Jenzer duo Alex Fontana and Patric Niederhauser.
In the afternoon, Aaro Vainio and team-mate Kujala found the top of the timesheets early on before the rain came down again, meaning the Finnish pair ended the session with the best times. Conditions were bad enough at one stage to bring the red flag out for 35 minutes.
Giovanni Venturini?was third for Trident ahead of Status Grand Prix’s?Josh Webster, Sainz and Adderly Fong. Kvyat was seventh, with Wednesday pace-setter Kevin Korjus, Conor Daly and Emanuele Zonzini completing the top ten.
