Egor Orudzhev and Nyck de Vries topped Friday’s Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 running at the final round at Jerez.
SMP Racing driver Orudzhev set the pace in the quicker morning session with a time of 1m40.616s.
Steijn Schothorst was second ahead of Jake Hughes, third quickest in only Strakka Racing’s second Eurocup event.
In fourth, Alex Albon led his fellow McLaren Autosport BRDC Award finalists George Russell and Ben Barnicoat, who are making their Eurocup at this event for the Tech 1 and Fortec teams respectively.
Martin Rump was seventh ahead of champion de Vries, with Brazilians Bruno Bonifacio and Pietro Fittipaldi completing the top ten.
De Vries set a time of 1m41.578s to top the second session, followed by Fortec’s regular British pair of Matt Parry and Jack Aitken.
Bonifacio was fourth, narrowly ahead of Russell. Josef Kaufmann Racing duo Gustav Malja and Kevin Jorg were sixth and seventh respectively with the top ten completed by Hughes and the Prema pairing of Hans Villemi and Dennis Olsen.
