Lynn takes his first win in European F3

Alex Lynn has managed to convert pole position into a win in race one at Brands Hatch Indy, finishing ahead of two teammates to complete a Prema 1-2-3.

Series leader Raffaele Marciello trailed Lynn for the entire race, staying within a second behind him at all times. He came closest to taking the lead on the last lap, as Lynn was bogged down in lapped traffic, but eventually had to settle for second.

Lucas Auer had a bad start, going to fifth from third on lap one. Fifth is where he spent most of his race before passing Felix Rosenqvist for fourth and then inherinting third as Sven Muller, who was heading to his first podium of the year, retired with a mechanical failure.

Briton Harry Tincknell finished behind Rosenqvist to take fifth. He was followed by four of his compatriots, with Tom Blomqvist in sixth, Jordan King in seventh, and Josh Hill ahead of Will Buller. Daniil Kvyat finished in tenth, but is inelligible as a guest driver to score the one point, which will go to Antonio Giovinazzi.

Mans Grenhagen was penalized with a drive-through for passing under yellows and is banned for one race by the race direction due to his previous infringements.
