BRDC F4 championship leader Will Palmer capped off the Brands Hatch round in style, driving straight from pole position to his sixth win of the season.
The HHC driver never seemed under much threat after the start, having gotten away well enough to keep the inside line into turn one.
He was one second up on Omar Ismail after one lap and while the Chris Dittmann Racing youngster appeared to keep pace with Palmer for a bit, he soon found himself under pressure from Ciaran Haggerty.
And, as Ismail worked to keep Haggerty behind, Palmer disappeared into the distance, not to be troubled again.
Despite Haggerty’s pace, Ismail managed to narrowly keep runner-up, while the Scotsman settled for his third podium from the last four races.
Jack Bartholomew took fourth after slipping behind Haggerty at the start, while Tom Jackson made it to fifth place.
Rodrigo Fonseca finished sixth, having nearly fallen prey to a late lunge from Harrison Newey into Druids. Newey himself ended up in the gravel, but rejoined, bringing the car home in 11th.
Seventh place went to Chris Mealin, with Sisa Ngebulana and Jordan Albert behind.
Ameya Vaidyanathan finished tenth on the road, but received a time penalty for jumping the start, with compatriot Akhil Rabindra inheriting the spot.
