Martin Rump will start the first ever Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior race from pole position after topping qualifying at Zandvoort.

On a drying track, the Estonian driver finished up two-thirds of a second clear of his nearest rival, Dutchman Roy Geerts.

Yaro Deckers, Pontus Fredricsson and Joel Affolter completed the top ten, while Markus Kiisa, Kimmy Larsson and 14-year-old Otto Tjader rounded out the 13 runners.
