Emil Bernstorff won race one of the German F3 round at Nurburgring from pole, controlling the race from lights to flag to lead a Lotus 1-2-3.

Alongside him on the front row, Artem Markelov held second for most of the race but eventually resigned it to a charging Marvin Kirchhofer. Performance Racing drivers followed after the Lotus crew, with John Bryant-Meisner leading Thomas Jager and Yannick Mettler.

Gustavo Menezes crossed the finish line in seventh, ahead of the ADM pair of Matteo Cairoli and Tomasz Krzeminski. In tenth, Hubertus-Carlos Vier took full advantage of an incident-filled race for the GU-Racing pair to take the victory in the Trophy class.

With the reverse-grid race cancelled after fog caused delays to the schedule of the Nurburgring 24 Hours weekend, the only remaining German F3 action will be a feature 30-minute race on Sunday, which Bernstorff will also start from pole.
