French junior star Anthoine Hubert picked up two more wins in the French F4 championship at Spa to increase his already massive lead in the series.
Having won race one, Hubert lined up in tenth for the reverse-grid race two, while youngsters Kang Ling and Severin Amweg occupied the front row. It took the Frenchman four laps to fight his way up to the lead and, on lap five, he passed Amweg to take first and ran away with the win.
The 16-year-old Amweg finished second, holding off pressure from Matevos Isaakyan. Tristan Viidas was fourth, while poleman Ling took fifth.
Race three took place in difficult conditions and had to be started under the safety car due to the massive rain. When the race was green, it was again Hubert who dominated, beating second-placed Simo Muhonen to the finish line by nine seconds. A fantastic drive from 12th saw Viidas take third, while Remy Deguffroy and Neal Van Vaerenbergh.
