Raffaele Marciello found himself short of 25 points after the third European F3 race at Brands Hatch as he was disqualified in post-race inspection, giving up the win to his teammate Lucas Auer.

According to the series official’ twitter account, the gear ratio on the Italian’s car was found to have been short of the permitted minimum width.

For Auer, the disqualification of his teammate brings him his first victory in European F3, while Andre Rudersdorf is promoted to tenth to score his first point in the series. Marciello’s lead ahead of Rosenqvist is down to 77.5 points.
