German F3 returnee Markus Pommer outpaced Motopark teammate Nabil Jeffri to top this morning’s free practice session for the ATS Formel 3 Cup opener at?Oschersleben.
The German, who set a time of 1:20.013, worked his way to the front to finish the session with a lap 0.124 seconds quicker than that of the Malaysian.
Briton?Sam MacLeod, making his series debut with VAR, kept the two Lotus drivers honest, finishing 0.194 seconds off of Pommer. Lotus’?Indy Dontje?was almost three tenths behind the Scot in fourth with?Nikita Zlobin in close pursuit in fifth.
Weiron Tan?came home sixth for Van Amersfoort Racing, just ahead of JBR’s Nicolai Sylvest. Rounding off the field were ADM’s Sergey?Trofimov, Motopark’s Andres Mendez and?Maximilian Hackl of Amkon.
