2014 German Formula Three champion Markus Pommer set the pace in the final practice of the season at Hockenheim.
Pommer, driving for Team Lotus, was two tenths up on Malaysian racer Nabil Jeffri, who currently occupies the runner-up spot in the standings.
Van Amersfoort Racing duo of Sam MacLeod and Weiron Tan were third and fourth respectively, while leader of the rookie standings Indy Dontje took fifth.
Andres Mendez was sixth quickest, ahead of Danes Nicolai Sylvest and Nicolas Beer – the latter making his debut in the series, having graduated from ADAC Formel Masters last year.
Russian racer Konstantin Tereshchenko took ninth, leading compatriot and ADM squadmate Nikita Zlobin.
