Marschall tops the timesheets in free practice at Hockenheim

Lotus driver Dennis Marschall was quickest in the sole free practice session of the final round of the 2014 ADAC Formel Masters season at Hockenheim.

Marschall consecutively set the three best laps of the session in the final minutes, eventually ending up 0.14s clear of recently crowned champion Mikkel Jensen.

Jensen’s teammate Tim Zimmermann took third, leading JBR’s Igor Walilko and Mucke’s Maximilian Gunther, while Joel Eriksson in sixth was the final driver to lap within a second of his session-topping squadmate.

Other Lotus drivers Luis-Enrique Breuer and Ralph Boschung were seventh and eighth, with David Kolkmann and Fabian Schiller rounding out the top ten.
