Motopark racers Markus Pommer and Nabil Jeffri locked out pole positions for the opening round of the 2014 German F3 season at Oschersleben.
Pommer sealed the quickest laptime of the session to put himself on pole for race one, while Jeffri managed the top second-fastest lap to take his first German F3 pole position for race three.
The Malaysian Motopark newcomer actually came close to securing first for both races, but eventually came just 0.006s off his German teammate’s benchmark.
Behind the duo, Indy Dontje locked out the ever-familiar Motopark 1-2-3, while Sam MacLeod took fourth for Van Amersfoort Racing.
SMP protege Nikita Zlobin recorded his best qualifying in the series with fifth, while JBR’s Nicolai Sylvest led another Russian driver Sergey Trofimov in sixth.
Weiron Tan, Andres Mendez and Maximilian Hackl make up the rest of the field.
