Reigning ADAC Formel Masters champion Picariello, making his first racing appearance of 2014, was 0.126 seconds slower.

The Belgian made double Portimao winner and championship leader Mirko Bortolotti settle for third ahead of fellow Italian Sergio Campana and Slovakian Richard Gonda.

Sebastian Balthasar was sixth ahead of Performance Racing team-mates Dennis Lind and Jimmy Eriksson. Oliver Campos and Picho Toledano completed the top ten.
