Grapp takes first win of the season in race one at the Sachsenring

M?cke Motorsport driver Hendrik Grapp took his first win of the season in race one of the ADAC Formel Masters at the Sachsenring.

Poleman Alessio Picariello made a strong start with Grapp, Maximilian G?nther and Marvin Dienst giving chase. However, on the twelfth lap Picariello and Dienst were both handed drive-through penalties for failing to slow under yellow flags. This promoted Grapp into the lead with G?nther giving chase, but it was to no avail as the man from Berlin took his first win of the season with G?nther having to settle for second.

Lotus driver Indy Dontje came home in third place ahead of Jason Kremer in fourth. Danish driver Nicolas Beer finished in fifth position just ahead of the recovering Picariello in sixth.

Local boy Florian Herzog came home in seventh, with Fabian Schiller, Dienst and Kim-Alexander Giersepen rounding out the final points scoring positions.
