The full line-up for this week’s post-season FIA Formula 3 test at Jerez has been published, and one surprising addition is Zane Maloney.

The Red Bull junior was the 2022 FIA F3 runner-up and is currently racing in Formula 2 for Rodin Carlin. He will drive for the team at Jerez alongside Carlin’s GB3 points leader Callum Voisin and McLaren junior Ugo Ugochukwu who is currently fighting for the Italian Formula 4 and Euro 4 titles.

Trident will retain Leonardo Fornaroli, who came 11th in FIA F3 this year with the team, and also run Formula Regional European Championship podium finishers Sami Meguetounif and Santiago Ramos.

Williams junior Luke Browning continues with Hitech GP, with Euroformula race-winner Cian Shields and FREC title contender Martinius Stenshorne in the team’s other two cars.

Jenzer Motorsport also has a Euroformula race-winner in its line-up, that being Charlie Wurz, along with Formula Ford Festival winner Max Esterson and FREC racer Matias Zagazeta.

Euroformula champion Noel Leon will test for Van Amersfoort Racing, alongside Alpine junior Sophia Floersch and Tommy Smith.

ART Grand Prix, which slumped from third in FIA F3’s teams’ standings last year to eighth this season, will run Euroformula race-winner Christian Mansell, Ollie Gray and Nyck de Vries protege Laurens van Hoepen.

PHM Racing, now operating independently of Charouz Racing System which it had co-run its F3 squad with this season, will reunite with Taylor Barnard (who raced for Jenzer Motorsport in F3 this year with PHM backing) and have Euroformula race-winner Joshua Dufek and Eurocup-3 racer Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak in its other two cars.

Campos Racing, MP Motorsport and Prema had already announced their test line-ups.

The Jerez test will take place on Thursday and Friday, with a three-hour session in the morning and a three-hour session in the afternoon of both days. Only Pirelli’s hard compound tyres will be used.
