Prema has announced its line-up for FIA Formula 3 post-season testing, with Arvid Lindblad and Gabriele Mini joining the team’s 2023 driver Dino Beganovic.

This year Beganovic and Mini finished sixth and seventh in the FIA F3 standings as rookies, with Prema driver Beganovic taking four feature race podiums.

“I’m happy to do the post-season test with Prema. We have been working together for a long time and it’s great to stay together and keep working on the things we need to improve,” said Ferrari junior Beganovic. “It will be an important test and I’m ready for it. I can’t wait to be back on track.”

Hitech GP’s Mini started the season with pole position at two of the first three rounds, turning the second of those into feature race victory in Monaco. He also won the Hungaroring sprint race and claimed two other podiums and a fastest lap.

“I’m really excited to join Prema for the post-season test,” commented Alpine junior Mini, who won the 2020 Italian Formula 4 title with Prema. “They obviously had a great season, winning the team title. It will be interesting to discover how balanced is their car, I’m really looking forward to hit the track on Thursday.”

Lindblad meanwhile is currently racing in F4 for Prema. Last weekend he lost the points lead in the Italian F4 championship, and is also in title contention in the new Euro 4 series.

“I’m really excited to do the official FIA F3 test this year with Prema,” Red Bull junior Lindblad said. “We have had a really good year in F4 and I’m very happy to continue our journey together. It’s a new car and a new challenge and it will be a great opportunity. I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible.”

The first post-season F3 test is at Jerez later this week, taking place over two days, then the week after teams head to Barcelona. The final test is at Imola towards the end of October.
