Lotus driver Marvin Kirchh?fer took his fifth and sixth pole positions of this season this afternoon after dominating the qualifying session for the ATS Formel 3 Cup at the Sachsenring.
The youngster outpaced the field by exactly 0.3 seconds. Emil Bernstorff came home in second, with American Gustavo Menezes third. Lotus driver Artem Markelov came home fourth just ahead of Performance Racing duo Thomas J?ger and John Bryant-Meisner in fifth and sixth respectively.
Rounding out the top ten Nabil Jeffri, Matteo Cairoli and Jordi Weckx, with Sebastian Balthasar coming home in tenth to lead the Trophy class.
Kirchh?fer’s second best time was again good enough for pole with Menezes coming home in second. J?ger was third ahead of Markelov and Bernstorff. Bryant-Meisner was sixth again ahead of Jeffri and Cairoli, with Balthasar leading the way in the Trophy class again.
