Tom Dillmann will start from pole again in race two at the Formula V8 3.5 round at the Hungaroring after?Matthieu Vaxiviere had a quicker last-gasp lap deleted.
In wet conditions, it was?Roy Nissany who led through most of the closing stages before Dillmann went seven tenths quicker after the chequered flag.
Vaxiviere then bettered his fellow Frenchman’s time by less than a tenth, but this effort was then discounted for a track limits infringement.
Dillmann and Nissany will therefore share the front row with Vaxiviere third and Aurelien Panis fourth.
Louis Deletraz and?Rene Binder will share row three ahead of?Beitske Visser and?Pietro Fittipaldi.
Race one winner?Johnny Cecotto was ahead during the first half of the session but ended up ninth, 3.3 seconds down and ahead of?Giuseppe Cipriani,?who was one of only 10 drivers to set a ‘proper’ lap time, with five missing out after a number of incidents.
