Artur Janosz keeps Trident on top as GP3 testing moves to Valencia

Artur?Janosz?kept up Trident’s strong pre-season pace with the new GP3 car by topping the first day of the Valencia test.

The Polish driver set the day’s best time of 1m21.755s towards the end of the morning session, two tenths ahead of his nearest rival?Alex Albon.

Konstantin Tereshchenko?was a close third for the local team Campos Racing ahead of?Charles Leclerc,?Oscar Tunjo and?Jack Aitken.?Alex Palou,?Nyck de Vries,?Tatiana Calderon and?Giuliano Alesi completed the top 10.

Matt Parry led the afternoon session for Koiranen, around two tenths down on the earlier time of Janosz. Parry’s fellow Brits Jake Dennis and Aitken were next for Arden in the front of an ART trio of?Nirei Fukuzumi, Leclerc and Albon.

The top 10 was rounded out in the afternoon by Tunjo,?Steijn Schothorst,?Santino Ferrucci and?Matevos Isaakyan.

Richard Gonda made his GP3 test debut after signing with Jenzer earlier in the week, and was 21st and 17th in the two sessions.
