Felix Rosenqvist managed to take away a win from what was a relatively quiet weekend up to race three, speeding to victory from fourth on the grid at Hungaroring.
After taking the lead, Rosenqvist went on mostly unopposed, his only real threat coming from Carlin’s Jordan King. The Brit was pretty close to making an overtake, but ran wide during his best shot and ended up falling down the field. As such, it was Felix Serralles who finished second.
Daniil Kvyat managed his maiden European F3 podium from pole in third place. However, it was Raffaele Marciello who picked up the points for third, finishing in fourth after a good recovery drive. King was fifth, ahead of Alex Lynn, Sven Muller and Tom Blomqvist. Prema’s Eddie Cheever was ninth ahead of Pipo Derani, with Lucas Wolf picking up the final point.
Marciello comfortably leads the championship, a whopping 71.5 points ahead of Rosenqvist, with Lynn, Serralles, Lucas Auer and Harry Tincknell very close together for third.
