Raffaele Marciello took his second victory of the day in race two of European F3 at Hockenheim, adding a win in the dry to his prior success in wet conditions.

The Italian’s lead was not once in danger, as he pulled away from the very start, taking advantage of the fight for second to build up a huge gap. It was Red Bull junior Tom Blomqvist who started in second and managed to hold on to that for a big chunk of the race, until he found himself embroiled in a fight with Lucas Auer. While he did manage to keep the Austrian behind, Brit Josh Hill passed them both into a single corner and emerged in second, keeping that position until the checkered, with Blomqvist third and Auer fourth.

Felix Serralles finished ahead of Dennis van de Laar in fifth, with Prema’s Alex Lynn in seventh. Sven Muller, Jordan King and Felix Rosenqvist closed out the top ten.

Guest driver Daniil Kvyat will be starting race three from pole position.
