Mauricio Baiz claimed a lights-to-flag victory in the Italian Formula 4 final at Adria.

The Venezuelan led from pole position for Mucke Motorsport, resisting early pressure from?Marcos Siebert before opening up a lead of over three-seconds prior to a safety car finish.

Baiz’s team-mate?Yifei Ye charged from seventh on the grid to finish second, passing Siebert four laps from the end.

Joao Vieira finished fourth ahead of?Raul Guzman, who passed?Simone Cunati late on with series debutant?Richard Verschoor following him past for sixth. Marino Sato was another on the move late on to take eighth from?Yan Leon Shlom, with?Kush Maini 10th.

Siebert leads the standings, 10 points ahead of Guzman and 22 in front of Baiz in what’s quickly becoming a Latin American title fight after Mick Schumacher‘s Prema team opted to miss the event.
