Dino Zamparelli set the quickest time in the opening session of GP3 pre-season testing at Estoril.
The ART Grand Prix recruit managed a time of 1m29.145s to top the morning session, as British drivers locked out the top four positions.
New Red Bull Junior Alex Lynn was second in his first ever drive of a GP3 car, 0.257s behind Zamparelli.
Lynn’s Carlin team-mate Emil Bernstorff was third, with former Carlin driver Nick Yelloly fourth for Status Grand Prix. Richie Stanaway, also at Status, took fifth on his first day in an official single-seater test since sustaining an injury in a Formula Renault 3.5 crash at Spa in June 2012.
Roman de Beer claimed sixth for Trident ahead of lead Arden driver Robert Visoiu and Carlin’s third driver Luis Sa Silva. Melville McKee was ninth testing for Jenzer Motorsport with?Santiago Urrutia tenth for Koiranen.
