Nick Yelloly achieved the quickest time in the morning session on day one of the second GP3 pre-season test at Jerez.
The Status driver set a time of 1m31.350s in the final 15 minutes of the session to finish up 0.244s clear of fellow Briton Alex Lynn, who had set the pace at the previous test at Estoril on his GP3 debut.
F3 Open graduate Santiago Urrutia was third quickest ahead of the ART Grand Prix duo of Dino Zamparelli and Marvin Kirchhofer.
Richie Stanaway completed the top six as he continues to test for Status ahead of a possible comeback to single-seater racing. Alex Fontana made it all three ART cars inside the top seven, ahead of Arden’s Jann Mardenborough, Jenzer returnee Pal Varhaug and Patrck Kujala of Marussia Manor.
Alfonso Celis was 19th in the third Status car after being confirmed as a race driver by the team during the morning.
