23-year-old Swiss driver Yannick Mettler will join John Bryant-Meisner and Thomas J?ger at Performance Racing for the 2013 German F3 season.
This will be Mettler?s third season in German F3 after competing in 2011 with Bordoli-Motorsport and in 2012 with Performance Racing achieving a best result of eighth place overall last season taking one win at the opening round at Zandvoort.
Mettler is extremely happy to be racing after another season seemed out of reach due to financial strains. ?I am deeply grateful to everybody involved and I hope that I will be able to deliver great results,? said Mettler.
Performance Racing ran both Bryant-Meisner and Mettler along side Australian Mitchell Gilbert, with Gilbert being the teams top performer finishing fourth overall, taking two wins and eight podiums as well as second place in the SONAX-Rookie Pokal.
The 2012 ATS Formel 3 Cup kicks off at Oschersleben on 27/28 April.
