Aku Pellinen joins GSK Grand Prix for Formula Abarth Italia

19-year-old Finn Aku Pellinen will enter the 2013 Formula Abarth Italia championship with new squad GSK Grand Prix.

Pellinen, who began racing in touring cars in his local Finland in 2010 competing in the local V1600 Cup, will make the move to single-seaters for the first time this season. The young Finn, who is the reigning Trofeo Abarth 500 Europa champion, has already proven to be very quick in testing and high hopes have been set for the season.

GSK Grand Prix enter the 2013 Formula Abarth Italia championship after competing in Formula Renault the past few seasons. Team boss Sergio Cane hopes to announce more drivers soon.
