Sergio Sette Camara continued to be the pace-setter at the 2015 Masters of Formula 3 at Zandvoort as he went fastest in the qualifying session.
Although it was Antonio Giovinazzi?beating his?Friday benchmark time and leading?the field at the mid-session pitstops by half a second,?Markus Pommer took over the leading role during the dying minutes.
The Italian?fought back only to lose out to Sette Camara a couple of seconds later.
Giovinazzi, who is the only one taking part from European F3’s top four, fell 0.06 seconds shy of Sette Camara and had a similar gap in hand over Pommer.
George Russell was fourth, followed by Van Amersfoort duo Alessio Lorandi and Arjun Maini.
Sam MacLeod in seventh was?six tenths off the pace while Nabil Jeffri brought a fourth Motopark car into the top eight, demoting Callum Ilott and Raoul Hyman by eight and nine thousandths of a second respectively.
2014 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 runner-up Dennis Olsen ended up 14th on his F3 debut.
