Famularo

Prema Powerteam has signed Alessandro Famularo for his second season in the Italian Formula 4 Championship.

After taking two points finishes with Bhatech Racing in his debut season, the Venezuelan driver will run the full Italian F4 campaign and selected ADAC Formula 4 races with Prema.

?I am very happy and excited to be part of this great team, which has a lot of history and achievements and participate with them in the Italian and German championships,? he said.

?I am sure it will be an excellent year and I am willing to give my best.

?I want to thank my coach Juan Pablo Montoya and Prema Powerteam for the opportunity they gave me. I am sure that it will be the beginning of a good relationship and learning.?

Famularo is the third driver to be confirmed for Prema?s 2019 Italian and German F4 campaigns, racing alongside Guanluca Petecof and Oliver Rasmussen in both championships.

?We are happy to welcome Alessandro to the Prema family,? said team boss Angelo Rosin.

?He showed good potential in 2018 and kept improving at a steady pace throughout the season. We think he has great room for further progress and we are looking forward to working with him in preparation for what is expected to be a competitive program.?

This will be Alessandro?s first season competing without twin brother Anthony, who is set to compete in the USF2000 championship with BN Racing.
