Louis Foster claimed pole in a red flag0disrupted British Formula 4 qualifying at Donington Park.

The Ginetta Junior driver ended the session with a 1m21.358s lap, 0.431s faster than Double R Racing team-mate Sebastian Alvarez, giving the team a front row lock out for races one and three this weekend.

Foster set the benchmark with his opening lap before the first of three red flags was thrown as Mariano Martinez came to a stop on track.

On the restart, Alvarez knocked his team-mate off the top spot. Both continued to improve and were joined at the top of the times by Tommy Foster and Luke Browning.

The session was stopped again just after the halfway mark, when Reema Juffali became stuck and needed assistance back to the pits, though she was able to get back out in the second half of the session.

Browning briefly moved up to second in the second half of the session, but fell behind Tommy Foster before Roberto Faria brought out the red flag 45s before the chequered flag.

On the race three grid set by second-fastest times, Browning will start ahead of Tommy Foster on the second row.

Championship newcomer Alex Connor ended the session fifth, ahead of Zane Maloney and Josh Skelton.

Bart Horsten, Joe Turney, and Carter Williams rounded out the top 10.
