Lotus driver Marvin Kirchhofer has wrapped up the 2013 German F3 season with a comfortable victory in race three at Hockenheim.
The series champion controlled the race from pole position, keeping nearest rival Emil Bernstorff at a safe distance until the checkered flag.
The Briton, who also picked up the fastest lap of the race, came up five points short in the fight for second in the standings, as his teammate Artem Markelov completed the podium in the final race after overtaking Swede John Bryant-Meisner over the opening lap.
Bryant-Meisner yielded another position over the latter parts in the race, settling for fifth behind Van Amersfoort Racing’s Gustavo Menezes.
Tomasz Krzeminski took a customary sixth, ahead of Matteo Cairoli and series debutant Roman Beregech. Nicolai Sylvest and Jordi Weckx completed the top ten, while Trophy champion Sebastian Balthasar picked up class victory in 11th
