EmiliodeVillota Motorsport’s Yu Kanamaru secured his second pole of the Euroformula Open season, narrowly beating points leader Vitor Baptista.

On a drying track, Kanamaru dethroned Baptista from the top spot with his final flying lap, going less than a tenth quicker than the Brazilian.

Konstantin Tereshchenko, who remains Baptista’s main rival in the standings, rounded out the top three, with Damiano Fioravanti leading Diego Menchaca in fourth.

Tanart Sathienthirakul edged Alessio Rovera, Yarin Stern and Leonardo Pulcini for sixth, with Kantadhee Kusiri making up the top ten.

Andres Saravia was the only driver not to log a lap, stopping on track on his outlap.
