Raoul Hyman will contest this weekend’s Euroformula Open round at the Hungaroring with his GP3 squad Campos Racing in place of Petru Florescu, who has switched to Fortec Motorsports.

South African driver Hyman is racing for Campos in GP3 this year, and scored points in both races at the opening round at Barcelona last month.

This will be his debut in Euroformula Open, although?he?did campaign a?Dallara F312 chassis in European Formula 3 in 2015.

Romanian driver Florescu is seventh in the Euroformula Open standings after contesting the first three rounds with Campos, finishing between positions six and nine in all six races held so far.

?I want to thank Campos Racing for all their guidance and efforts, but it is time to part ways,” he said.

“I am hoping things will work out in such a way that we work together again in the future.

“I am very excited about joining Fortec Motorsports, as they have shown very strong pace.

“One of my first tests in a race car was with Fortec Motorsports while I was still doing karting so I feel at home and I am very happy to be able to work with Mick Kouros and his team of dedicated professionals.”

Florescu joins German driver Jannes Fittje in the Fortec line-up.
