Mucke’s youngster Maximilian Gunther continued his trend of one-upping the field on single-lap pace, taking the top spot in the ADAC Formel Masters practice session at Lausitzring.

With one minute to go in the session, Gunther took the session lead from Jason Kremer, with the Schiller Motorsport driver settling for second. Alongside Kremer, rookie Ralph Boschung also ended up within 0.1s off the top time in third place.

Championship leader Alessio Picariello was fourth, with Red Bull junior Beitske Visser rounding out the top five. Another Mucke man Hendrik Grapp picked up sixth, with Mikkel Jensen and Marvin Dienst rounding out the top eight. Fabian Schiller and Callan O’Keeffe took ninth and tenth respectively.
