Campos Racing has finalised its FIA Formula 3 Championship line-up for the coming season with the signing of Laszlo Toth.
The Hungarian driver joins fellow Formula Renault Eurocup graduates Lorenzo Colombo and Amaury Cordeel at the team.
Toth was team-mate to Colombo at Bhaitech in last year’s Eurocup, when he finished 16th in the standings. That followed two years racing Formula 4 across various championships.
“We are pleased to confirm Laszlo as the final addition to our driver line-up in the 2021 FIA Formula 3 season,” said Adrian Campos Jr, the team’s sporting director.
“I am sure that together with Lorenzo and Amaury we will be able to develop a great joint effort and achieve the objectives set for this year in the category. I would like to give Laszlo a warm welcome to Campos Racing on behalf of everybody at the team and we wish him every success in this new challenge for him.”
Toth is the 27th driver to seal his place on the FIA F3 grid, with one seat still vacant at Carlin and two at Charouz.
“I’m very pleased and honoured to continue my career at a team with such a great heritage,” Toth said. “I’d like to continue going forward step by step, just like I did before. This will be my first F3 season, obviously the main goals are to develop and gain as much experience as possible.”
