After a dominant showing in practice yesterday, Bruno Bonifacio managed to repeat that performance to take pole position for races one and two of the Misano round as his time in Group B was quicker that the lap by championship leader and team mate Antonio Fuoco who dominated group A.
Kevin Jorg took second in Bonifacio’s group and will line up in third on the grid, sharing the row with Prema driver Luca Ghiotto in fourth.
Egor Orudzhev took fifth, securing a spot on third row alongside compatriot Konstantin Tereshchenko. New Prema recruit Matthew Solomon was seventh ahead of Hans Villemi with Simon Gachet in ninth and Andrew Tang closing out the top ten.
“The team has been working very well since yesterday’s practice so I relied on a very quick car. Being fast at the start, as well as not making mistakes, will be key for the races”, said Bonifacio post-qualifying.
