Thai racer Sandy Stuvik set the fastest time in F3 Open qualifying at Silverstone, taking his first pole position of the year.
Stuvik, who currently leads the championship, was 0.5s quicker than main rival Nelson Mason, with Mason’s West-Tec teammate Ed Jones a further half-tenth down in third.
Santiago Urrutia qualified in fourth, whilst another RP Motorsport driver Alex Toril narrowly missed out on fifth, losing out to Yarin Stern by 0.003s. Hector Hurst took seventh, with Alexey Chuklin, Vicky Piria and Alexandre Cougnaud rounding out the top ten.
Copa class standings leader Richard Gonda was the top F308 in qualifying, lining up in 13th. Che One Lim took second in class, with Cameron Twynham securing third.
