Jann Mardenborough set the pace as the final test ahead of the 2015 GP3 Series season began in Barcelona on Tuesday morning.
The Nissan protege posted a best time of 1m34.910s for Carlin, putting him 0.094 seconds clear of closest rival Pal Varhaug (Jenzer).
ART’s Marvin Kirchhofer was just one thousandth slower than Varhaug in third, while Ralph Boschung kept up Jenzer’s strong off-season form with fourth.
Jimmy Eriksson was fifth for Koiranen and Esteban Ocon completed the top six for ART, just 0.160s off the pace.
His former F3 team-mate Antonio Fuoco took seventh for Carlin in front of the final ART driver Alfonso Celis and Trident’s Oscar Tunjo.
Adderly Fong, who missed the last test in Valencia due to clashing commitments over the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, was tenth, just in front of Valencia pace-setter Alex Palou.
