Josef Kaufmann Racing’s Louis Deletraz set the pace in the afternoon session of day two of Eurocup Formula Renault’s Aragon test.
Deletraz, who finished runner-up in NEC last year, clocked in his best lap in the first hour after the mid-day break and did not come under much pressure for the remainder of the track time.
Anthoine Hubert came closest to toppling the Swiss driver, but was ultimately just a tenth off.
Another NEC graduate Jake Hughes was third, leading the JD duo of Matevos Isaakyan and Thiago Vivacqua.
Kevin Jorg was sixth again ahead of Jack Aitken and Tech 1 teammates Simon Gachet and Hugo de Sadeleer.
NEC champion Ben Barnicoat ended the session in tenth.
Isaakyan’s benchmark from the morning remained as the best time of the session.
