Tim Zimmermann?narrowly beat out Neuhauser Racing teammate Mikkel Jensen to top the time sheets in this morning’s test session for the ADAC Formel Masters round at Zandvoort.
The young German was able to lap the Dutch circuit faster than his more experienced teammate and ensured that the Austrian team would control the proceedings.
Jensen, who comes into the round at the top of the standings, would have to settle for second place ahead of Lotus rookie?Joel Eriksson.
Another Lotus driver?Ralph Boschung?was able to come home fourth ahead of fellow sophomore Maxmilian Gunther?and teammate Dennis Marschall.
The top ten was rounded out by?Kim-Luis Schramm,?Dennis Marschall,?Philip Hamprecht and?Giorgio Maggi.
The ADAC Formel Masters action at Zandvoort will continue this afternoon with free practice set to get underway at 16:35 local time.
