Santiago Urrutia won the second qualifying of the weekend after a brave race from yesterday, when he climbed up from eighth to second.
RP Motorsport have two drivers on the front row as the 16-year-old Uruguayan edged out championship leader Sandy Stuvik by less than 0.1 seconds. Behind them are yesterday’s race winner Ed Jones and his teammate Nelson Mason.
Hector Hurst will start from fifth, Alex Toril and Alexandre Cougnaud grab sixth and seventh as series debutant Emil Bernstorff will try to get his first points in the championship after a difficult race from Saturday. The top ten is completed by Yarin Stern and Vicky Piria.
The Copa class qualifying was won by Slovakian driver Richard Gonda in a dominant fashion, as his closest rivals Tommaso Menchini and Che One Lim were beaten by more than 8 tenths.
