Fortec Motorsports’ Nikolas Taylor climbed from seventh to win GB4’s reversed-grid Silverstone race to complete a weekend hat-trick of wins.

Taylor moved into second on lap one behind polesitter Chloe Grant, as Rossoverde Racing’s Christian Lester stalled from second on the grid.

He then moved around the outside of Grant at Luffield and took the lead as they crossed the line at the end of lap two. In the remaining eight laps he pulled away and won by a massive 10.359 seconds.

Marcus Short ran third early on for Hillspeed but, just after Kevin Mills Racing’s Tom Mills moved alongside on the Wellington Straight, Graham Brunton Racing’s Logan Hannah moved inside the pair of them into Brooklands.

Hannah then got sideways and lost third to Mills on the Hangar Straight, and a further mistake at Aintree dropped her down to ninth.

GBR’s Grant held on to second until lap four, when she was passed by Mills and then lost a further three places to Hillspeed duo Max Marzorati and Megan Gilkes and KMR’s Jarrod Waberski.

Marzorati closed in on Mills and, after the pair ran wide at Copse, completed a move for second at Brooklands.

Gilkes pounced to also move around the outside of Mills at Stowe, with Waberksi then also resuming his battle from race two with his team-mate.

Waberski prevailed, as Mills slipped to sixth behind Elite Motorsport’s Jack Sherwood.

There was a frenetic final lap and Marzorati held on to second, while Waberski pipped Gilkes to third at the chequered flag by a tenth of a second and 0.634s covered second to fifth.

Hannah finished seventh ahead of Short, while Grant slipped back to 10th behind Fortec’s Jessica Edgar.
