Zele Racing’s Tamas Pal Kiss set the pace in Friday practice for the second round of the 2014 Auto GP season at Paul Ricard.
Kiss was a tenth quicker than current championship leader Kimiya Sato in the second practice session, ending the day of running on top.
In the first session, however, it was Virtuosi’s Sam Dejonghe who went quickest, narrowly beating out Super Nova International’s Markus Pommer. Sato and Kiss finished third and fourth, while Dejonghe’s teammate Andrea Roda rounded out the top five.
Session two saw Marrakech polesitter Kevin Giovesi make the top three, several tenths off of Kiss and Sato. Pommer took fourth, while Roda was, again, fifth.
The qualifying for the second round of the Auto GP season will take place tomorrow at 10AM local time.
