Elite Motorsport’s Jack Sherwood scored a maiden GB4 victory in the reversed-grid race at Snetterton.

Fortec Motorsports’ Jessica Edgar was due to start from pole, but an electrical problem prevented her from taking the start, eventually joining one lap down from the pits.

Sherwood climbed from the second row past Graham Brunton Racing’s Logan Hannah and Chloe Grant to lead into Riches, while Hillspeed’s new points leader Max Marzorati moved into second on the opening lap, diving inside Hannah at Agostini before sweeping past Grant at Brundle.

Hannah suffered an early puncture and tumbled to eighth after pitting, while Megan Gilkes damaged her front wing early on and dropped from fifth to seventh before a visit to the pits, having been shown a black-and-orange flag.

Sherwood controlled the remainder of the 10-lap contest, coming home 3.021 seconds clear of Marzorati who extended his points lead over Nikolas Taylor, who came home fifth.

Kevin Mills Racing’s Tom Mills was third, a second ahead of team-mate and race two winner Jarrod Waberski. Grant repeated her race two result with sixth.
