The Formula Regional European Championship will visit the same 10 circuits in 2024 but in a considerably different order, with Hockenheim to open the season after it closes the current campaign.
Rather than support the DTM at the German circuit, the series will instead race on the same bill as Euroformula and the International GT Open, as it will for six rounds next year.
That will also include round two at Spa-Francorchamps, which was previously held as part of the Spa 24 Hours week but will now be visited one month earlier, at the end of May. Sister series Italian Formula 4 raced on the bill of the same event this year but has dropped Spa from its 2024 schedule.
Zandvoort, which this weekend is hosting the penultimate round of the season, also moves forward to host the third meeting, two weeks after Spa. That will be in support of DTM, rather than GT World Challenge Europe.
The Hungaroring, Mugello and Paul Ricard retain their summer dates, while Imola moves back from the start of the season to host round seven at the start of September. That will be followed just a week later by the Red Bull Ring and then Barcelona, where the series returns to supporting the late-season GT Open event after being held in May this year.
Monza will host the season finale, moving from mid-September to the end of October.
Italian F4 will race alongside FREC at Mugello – a date moved back one week from its original scheduling – Paul Ricard, Barcelona and Monza. The Euro 4 championship is set to join at the Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring.
