The 2016 schedule for the championships that make up the Mazda Road to Indy has been revealed, with all three series to be a part of IndyCar’s new Road America event.

Indy Lights, Pro Mazda and USF2000 will all feature together on the support bill at six IndyCar events – St Petersburg, Barber, the Indianapolis GP course, Road America, Toronto and Mid-Ohio.

As in 2015, the three categories will conclude with a season finale at Laguna Seca in September.

Additionally, Indy Lights and Pro Mazda will be present at Iowa, with Indy Lights also involved in the two other new IndyCar fixtures at the Phoenix oval and Boston street circuit.

As always, Indy Lights will hold its Freedom 100 race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval on the weekend of the Indy 500, while Pro Mazda and USF2000 compete at the nearby Lucas Oil Raceway.

While the Indy Lights calendar has expanded from 10 to 11 events in total, it has lost its Long Beach support slot. Pro Mazda and USF2000 remain at nine and eight race weekends respectively.
