Championship leader Alessio Picariello was quickest in Friday practice of ADAC Formel Masters at Spielberg.

Team KUG’s Ralph Boschung sat at the top of the timesheets for most of the session, but eventually surrendered his lead to the Belgian and settled for second at the checkered flag. Schiller Motorsport’s Jason Kremer rounded out the top three, more than half a second behind the leader.

Lotus seemed on pace at the track and three cars from the team followed right behind the top three, with Mikkel Jensen leading Beitske Visser and Indy Dontje. Kremer’s teammate Fabian Schiller was seventh, ahead of Mucke’s Maximilian Gunther, with Neuhauser drivers Marvin Dienst and Nicolas Beer rounding out the top ten.
