Pepe Marti will continue his relationship with Campos Racing and Red Bull into a second season of Formula 2 in 2025.
The Spanish driver has been with Campos for the entirety of his European-based single-seater career, beginning with his third-place finish in Spanish Formula 4 in 2021. He then made the leap up to FIA Formula 3 with the team, and followed a difficult rookie season where he scored just two points with a much-improved second campaign, in which he came fifth in the points with two wins.
This secured him a place in the Red Bull Junior Team for his move up to F2. He scored a double podium on his debut weekend in Bahrain but the rest of the season failed to live up to that strong start. He did take his maiden win in the Abu Dhabi sprint race last weekend as he finished the year 14th in the standings.
Marti has confirmed he will continue to have the backing of Red Bull alongside new teammate Arvid Lindblad, who takes the place of F2 runner-up and fellow Red Bull protege Isack Hadjar in the Campos F2 line-up.
“I’m very excited to be returning to Campos Racing for my second season in Formula 2 in 2025,“ said Marti. “Since the start of my single-seater career, both Adrian Sr and Jr have had faith in me and now we are facing our fifth season together.
“I am confident that with this team that I consider as family, and the hard work that we have put in during 2024, we will be very competitive and surely a top contender.”
Team principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “I am happy that Pepe and Campos Racing can continue working together for the fifth consecutive year. He is already like family and we understand each other perfectly, as he is fully integrated into the team.
“It has been a very positive first year in FIA Formula 2, with four podiums including a victory in Abu Dhabi which, as a culmination, should serve as maximum motivation for 2025. We will have two young drivers in Pepe and Arvid with whom we aspire to do well for another year.”
